PSAI China Cave Diving Education & Training Week

The largest single group from China came to Florida for a week of very intensive PSAI Cave Diving education and training. PSAI Executive Chairman, Gary Taylor, was delighted to get out of the office and away from the cold Great Lakes winter weather to direct the special event. Gary was assisted by Gallup Y.T. Lee (Administrator for PSAI China & Full Cave Instructor Trainer) and James Charles (PSAI Full Cave Instructor Trainer Examiner & Board Member). Other important PSAI figures putting in an appearance during the week included: Hal Watts (PSAI Founder & CEO) and Trace Malinowski (PSAI International Training Director & Board Member).

Each day the entire group was up at the crack of dawn prepping for the day’s cave dives. The day lasted long into the evening with lectures and discussion sessions. Gary Taylor said, “The week was a huge success, with everyone (divers and professional alike) increasing their rating levels. They will no doubt be the group who will have the greatest influence on cave diving and exploration in the People’s Republic of China. Congratulations to everyone on their achievements!”
