The PSAI Fundamentals of Public Safety Diving covers a wide area of public safety diver skills through a proper training program.
It consists all the basic Public Safety Diving skills along with importants basic knowledges for all Public Safety Divers.

- Equipment Considerations for Deep Diving.
- Dive Preparation and Planning.
- Managing Physiological Factors When Diving Deeper.
- Use of the PSAI Bühlmann ZHL-16B Dive Tables.
- Managing Potential Dive Equipment and Pressure Maladies.
- Public Safety Diving Equipment.
- Underwater Search and Recovery.
- Crime Scene Photography.
- Crime/Dive Scene Investigation.
- Group and In Water Skills .
This PSAI course is designed to encompass many Public Safety diver skills, proficiency and experiences though a proper training
program. This program should consist of all the basic PSD skills including Search patterns, Emergency procedures, Communications, Medical Training (DAN O2, First Aid, and CPR), Pulling vehicles, Crime scene techniques, Deep diving procedures, etc.
The program also teach Public Safety Divers in scenarios/diving situations on how to deal with Stress Fear and Panic in a limited visibility environment.
