PSAI China News November 2011

Divers from PSAI CHINA made their regular exploration trip to Guangxi for cave diving. From 20th to 23th, Nov. This time PSAI divers from mainland China cooperated PSAI director Steve Chan and PSAI Country Licensee John Lee from Singapore to explore the caves. We focused on DUAN district. We explored one pool with 4 entrances. Water come out from the entrance and forms a river. One entrance under stairs led to a dead end Water comes out from small crevice, but perfect for practice laying the line and team work training. Another entrance leads us to 40m deep on the first dive there. On the next day we made another dive here to 50m deep. We can see it still goes down. It allures us to go further step in. Without the right gas it is quite dangerous. I was concerned about the bad visibility when we came out. It is better to go step by step. We will come back next time.

Generally Guangxi is good for training cavern and intro to cave divers. We are checking more caves to see if there is any place good for full cave diver training. PSAI will be the pioneers to train cave diver and make exploration in Mainland China in the future. PSAI Country Licensee John Lee from Singapore made some nice video of the trips.
