November – December 2009 Full Cave Course
PSAI President Gary Taylor conducted a special Full Cave Diver Course for PSAI Advanced Nitrox Instructor Wang Yuan from the People Republic of China. Gary was assisted by PSAI Instructor Trainer Carl B. Griffing, Jr. and PSAI Board Member James Charles. Indeed, this made it a very special learning experience for Wang Yuan. Much was covered in this course.
As always, there was plenty of dive time (many of the dives clocking in with around 2 hours of bottom time). the previous work that Wang had done with PSAI International Training Director Steve Chain in the PSAI ABC Diver Course paid off in the amount of penetration and the places Wang Yuan was able to experience. The “graduation dive” was The Grand Traverse from Orange Grove Sink to Peacock. During the course, PSAI Founder Hal Watts made a visit, whic you can seen in the final photo of the following group.
