Summer 2017 PSAI Underwater Cleanup Event

In June 2017, PSAI organized an Underwater Cleanup day in Sai Kung, Hong Kong.  Being part of the “Sea Without Litter” Program, PSAI China coordinated with the World Wild Fund not only to help clean the trash underwater on one particular day but also to raise the awareness of corals conservation and ocean protection, a more long-term social impact to the local diving community.

Over forty volunteers participated, in which ghost nets, plastics, cans and trash weighted fifty kilos were brought up from the sea.  With the support from our members, PSAI China aims to create further meaningful projects related to preserving the underwater beauty in the near future.

2017 年夏季 PSAI 水底清潔活動

2017年6月，PSAI 在香港西貢組織了一次水底清潔日。 作為「攜手護海洋」計劃的一部分，PSAI 中國聯同世界自然基金會進行了此次活動，不僅在一天內幫助清理遺留在水底的垃圾，而且更希望長遠地提高本地潛水群對於珊瑚保育及海洋保護的意識。

當日有四十多名志願者參加了我們的活動，並從海底裏檢拾出共五十公斤的鬼網，塑膠料，罐頭及其他垃圾。 在我們的會員支持下，PSAI 中國的目標致在不久的將來創造更多有意義的項目，從而宣揚維護美麗水底世界的理念。
