First Major PSAI Fundamentals of Deep Sport Diving Program Taught in the United States
The new PSAI Fundamentals of Deep Sport Diving Program is far more than the traditional Deep Diver course offered by other agencies. PSAI Executive Chairman Gary Taylor has put together a program (new for 2011) which is built on real world diving that will teach divers in a manner in which they master the skills, knowledge and training to approach the 18 to 27 meter (60 to 90 foot) depth range with the confidence, to make this deep diving experience enjoyable. This program is meant to be the bridging step between the Open Water Diver Program and the PSAI Narcosis Management™ Program.
Divewell Scuba, (the PSAI US Instructor Training Facility for the Eastern Seaboard), PSAI Instructors Dr. Jeff Charlston and DeeAnna Spivey, took on the challenge of conducting the first major PSAI Fundamentals of Deep Sport Diving Program taught in the Americas.
